Case Study 3 - Title Company - Post-Disaster Insurance Claim Consulting, Exchange Server Implementation, Ongoing Technical Support

We were brought initially to help this Chicago title company determine the root cause of a catastrophic loss of data for insurance purposes. We were asked to document it, and to eliminate the problem if possible. Prior to our involvement, they had been supported by a small local service provider, and upon inspection we discovered that several hardware and software components had been configured improperly.

Upon further research we were able to trace the system crash that caused the data loss to a hardware device issue. This allowed the firm to collect a settlement on their insurance policy which provided for recovery of the lost data.

After completing this investigation, we were retained by the firm to support their entire network and hardware infrastructure, and have recently begun implementing Exchange Server for inter-office and Internet E-mail.
